That same year, he married his wife, Joanne, beginning a lifelong partnership that has now spanned over four decades. Early in his Property and Casualty career, John worked as a broker with an agency based in Ludlow, Massachusetts. On October 1, 1984, John took a major step forward by founding Slosek Insurance Corporation, which continues to serve clients today with a focus on education, protection, and long-term relationships. In 2004, John earned the distinguished Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, further demonstrating his commitment to professional excellence and continuing education within the industry. Beyond his agency work, John has devoted much of his career to teaching and mentoring others. On April 1, 2000, he launched The Insurance Coach TM radio show, a program that has been on the air for over 26 years. Through this platform, John shares practical, common-sense insights on insurance, financial responsibility, and life planning-helping listeners make informed decisions about protecting what matters most.
