PAP v. Transportation Network Companies

Transportation Network Companies are here to stay. The demographics of who drives for TNCs and who uses TNCs are growing. This course will analyze the PAP exclusion “public and livery conveyance” and how that gets applied in claim scenarios. We will also take a look at when the TNCs' coverages are triggered and what those coverages can look like. This knowledge will help you as the insurance professional to educate your clients who are involved in TNCs, whether a driver or a user. This course will dive into the emerging Autonomous Vehicles, and what we may be able to expect from those types of claims.
