Kathy Cormier

Kathy began her career in insurance at a Medford, MA, independent agency, where she worked for five years on personal auto and registry issues. In 1989, she joined the Independent Insurance Agents of Massachusetts (IIAM), which later became the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA). Kathy first served in MAIA’s Education Department, then Agency Services (now the Number One Insurance Agency). She managed the Workers’ Compensation program, then moved to MAIA’s Communications Department. Kathy earned her Certified Professional in Personal Lines (CPPL) designation and currently works in Member Advocacy on Personal Auto Issues, Registry Issues, Company Filings, and Publications. Kathy has taught MAIA’s Registry and MA Auto classes for many years.
