Mary Roy specializes in High-Valued Homeowners insurance placements for successful families and high-net-worth individuals. Her main focus caters to celebrity and publicly recognized figures, with a concentration on coastal and high-limit property insurance placements. For two decades, Mary has been a leader in the Personal Lines space. She has earned a reputation for her professionalism, honesty, and unique ability to approach each account with a level of compassion. Unknown to most, Mary began her insurance career in Commercial Lines in 2003 - learning the fine art of “old school” manual rating, reading company underwriting manuals, and comparing policy forms. She quickly jumped at the opportunity to learn Personal Lines and never looked back! Over the past 20 years, she has built out technology systems, implemented online quoting functionalities, designed websites, wrote corporate brochures, oversaw social media activity, attended national conventions, managed teams, negotiated carrier contracts, and so much more! Mary is proficient in brokerage and binding authority operations, risk assessment techniques, and applicable insurance laws. Her performance has always been highly sales-driven as well as customer service-oriented. She displays the ability to problem solve, a sense of urgency, and has a knack for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Agents, Brokers, and Companies at all levels. Mary holds Property & Casualty Producer’s licenses in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. “The part I love most about this job is connecting with people on a very human level! That same year, Mary Roy received Worcester Business Journal's Forty Under 40 Award. This recognition is given to high-quality, talented, & motivated professionals who play a vital role in the future. Mary received this award for being dedicated to improving the insurance industry while putting her talents to helping her community flourish. In 2023, Mary joined CRC Group, the leading wholesale specialty insurance distributor in North America. "I am thrilled to be a part of this organization! CRC Group is leading the charge on so many levels. For example, technology and data analytics are extremely important to me. After spending 4 months traveling the country, talking to the best & brightest in Personal Lines, I truly felt that CRC was the best fit for me! It is such an exciting time in our industry!" Mary is an avid Pilates enthusiast. She also enjoys entertaining friends in the White Mountains of NH and visiting her family at the beach in Nahant, MA. Mary is passionate about representing women in the insurance industry - it is possible to have a family and still progress in your career! Mary has two school-aged children: Abigail Lillian & Charlotte Rose Marie – her two biggest and best life accomplishments by far!
