Colleen Ellison

Independent Multi-Medium Artist Member: Boston Based Flow Troupe

Born and raised in the greater Boston area, Colleen Ellison is a multi-medium artist. Trained in classical dance and classical music theory, Ellison became an avid performer at a young age. Ellison went on to receive a BFA from Mass College of Art and Design in 2017, and has continued to work in both the visual and performing arts. Ellison became interested in Flow/Circus arts in 2015 after seeing hoop performers at music festivals she'd attended. Quickly hoop arts became her new focus and she joined a local performance group, Boston Based Flow Troupe. She has since performed at many local events around Boston as well as music festivals in New England, spreading the many levels of exploration you can have with just a simple plastic circle.
