CEO & Co-Founder: Aureus Analytics

Anurag Shah is the CEO and Co-Founder of Aureus Analytics. He defines the organization's overall growth, execution strategy, and finance in this role. Anurag has over 20 years of experience managing large global teams and driving revenue growth. Anurag started his first technology venture – ESI, at the age of 24, which was later acquired by Omnitech, where he served as the COO & Head of Global Operations. In this role, he was responsible for global operations & processes, mergers & acquisitions, strategic customer management, and the development new markets across Europe and Asia. Prior to ESI, he worked for IBM & CBay systems. Currently, Anurag is building a team for the continued expansion of operations of Aureus Analytics into the North American market. His focus is on defining and overseeing the company's customer acquisition, marketing, and product strategies to meet the needs of insurance agents, brokers, and carriers. Anurag's strengths lie at the intersection of business and technology, focusing on artificial intelligence and machine learning. He is a regular speaker at various Insurtech events and seminars across the North American market. He is a co-author of two patents; IN 201621005925, "Household identification algorithm for an insurance portfolio," and SentiMeter®. Anurag is an engineering graduate from the University of Mumbai and has studied management at NMIMS in Mumbai and executive management from the ISB, Hyderabad. He also holds a certificate in Machine Learning from Stanford. As a technology entrepreneur and artificial intelligence subject matter expert, Anurag is continuously thinking of disruptive ways to connect the evolution of AI and its application to various industries, including insurance. Outside of work, Anurag likes to kayak, play chess or tennis, and dabbles in creative cooking. Anurag lives in Connecticut with his wife and two sons.
