The presentation will provide a general overview of what to expect when an E&O claim is filed against an insurer and how to best work with counsel to defend a claim successfully. We will cover the pertinent milestones in the litigation process, common pitfalls the insurer may encounter, and best management of expectations. Further, we will review several cases representing issues the insurer may face and how to protect themselves best when dealing with client relations, policy issues, and coverage.
